Camel Sweaters and Sunny Days
Hey loves! I know I haven’t posted a lot since I started this blog but I am getting the hang of it now. I am not quite sure what path I want it to take, but I think it will find it’s way the more I post. Anyway, I think the past week and a half of school have been the hardest weeks yet. The “Snowpocalypse” or “Snowmageddon” as my fellow Bison call it, has become a mini winter break. As a younger child and even a high schooler, I could not wait to get out of school early and have snowday after snowday but it’s different now. Its so hard to get into the swing of things after you’ve only had one class within five or six days but I’ll survive. Next week will probably be the hardest because there will most likely be a full week of classes so no more breaks! But I love the environment I am able to learn in and I love my HBCU so no hard feelings.
As you all can see I had apretty relaxing week and a half without classes. The day that I actually had to leave my room was very productive and I enjoyed myself. I woke up, sturggled to get dressed for about two hours and then finally came out wit a finished product. The image, or rather images below are of the outfit I wore that day and I am excited to share it with you all. I am wearing a camel or tan colored sleeveless sweater from Forever 21, a simple black crop top underneath, along with black jeans from H&M and black booties by Steve Madden. This is one of my favorite outfits that I have created since the new year has commenced because I felt good while I was wearing it. The booties are so comfortable most days so it’s like I’m not even wearing heels. I am in LOVE with this sweater because I can wear it in so many different ways which I cannot wait to share in the future but for now, here is my first look.
